SOL Services was appointed to carry out the safe dismantling and preparation of cold store pallet racking at Bidfood’s Oban facility, supporting the client’s need for efficient reorganisation and removal of existing infrastructure.
The project involved the careful disassembly of racking within a temperaturecontrolled environment, ensuring no damage to the components or surrounding areas. All materials were methodically stacked and prepared for removal, enabling smooth transportation and future reuse or disposal.
Operating in a cold store environment required strict adherence to health and safety protocols, with the SOL team working quickly and safely to minimise disruption.
